Astron Industries has launched Daylight AQ contact film to a number of stamp manufacturers who used photopolymer in their stamp processing.
As a result, a number of companies converted from normal dark room film virtually overnight. Their Immediate gains were, simplicity of use, improved quality, clarity, and the fact that dark rooms, messy chemicals and expensive cameras were no longer necessary.
Initially, some of those companies doubted that a product like this could perform in a superior manner to the established methods which have been around for many years. It was not long before the free samples provided, proved otherwise and these manufacturers were rewarded with good results.
The first step requires the transfer of art work onto Ideal brand high resolution Plate Making Vellum with a laser printer. Alternatively, paste-up art work on a photocopier, using the high resolution Plate Making Vellum can be used just as effectively. The plate making vellum is so transparent, due to the lack of visible fibres, that it produces ideal toner opacity.
Daylight AQ is easy to handle and does not kink or bend in normal operating conditions.
If a conventional dark room film is currently used, the Ideal Daylight AQ film is a good alternative. Astron will not only supply product samples, but will include a demonstration video tape completely free of charge.
