The Aqua-nova wastewater treatment systems are an effective and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment process designed to safeguard the health of customers and their families. The Aqua Nova is a two tank system which delivers an innovative aerated wastewater treatment through a multistage digestion process using naturally occurring bacteria and enzymes.
The wastewater treatment systems break down wastewater in a number of phases. In the primary stage, treatment is anaerobic, where bacteria thrive in an oxygen free zone, and the breakdown of solid waste undertaken. The waste is then sent to the second stage where air is consistently supplied to bacteria providing aerobic treatment that completes the total digestion process.
At this point the wastewater passes through a clarifying process into the disinfection chamber where any remaining pathogenic bacteria are forcefully destroyed. The now clean and disinfected water is sent to a selected irrigation system through an integral submersible pump with automatic level control.
