APPLIED Sorting Technologies has released two new Australian made x-ray inspection systems.
Designed to detect a wide range of metal and non-metallic contaminants, the new machines can also perform missing ingredient inspection and check weighing of packaged products.
The XR-3000P is suitable for packaged products up to 140mm high or 300mm wide such as prepared meals, frozen foods, pastries, smallgoods, retail packs of meat and similar products.
The XR 3000L is appropriate for loose products on a belt including diced meat, poultry, sea foods, and nuts, or products in small lightweight packets such as snack foods, frozen confectionery or powdered beverages.
The machines are also locally serviced and supported directly by the manufacturer.
The installation and operation of both the XR systems is straight forward using Windows based operating systems.
The machines can be connected via a LAN or modem to Applied Sorting's engineers for remote monitoring and technical support to ensure optimum performance at all times.
Applied Sorting Technologies can also modify standard x-ray machines or custom build product inspection systems to meet any specific inspection, contamination prevention or quality assurance requirement.
Inspection services are also available on a contract basis as well as machines for sale.
