THE most powerful hydraulic cylinders ever produced by Enerpac are being introduced to Australia and New Zealand for heavyweight construction, civil engineering, manufacturing and resource industry tasks.
The CLL series Lock Nut Cylinders can hoist up to 1080 tons in standard form, with higher-capacity 1500 and 2000-ton models available on request.
The 700-bar high pressure cylinders raise their loads 50-300mm with hydraulic control and precision, then secure them mechanically with a lock nut mechanism.
Able to withstand sideload forces up to five per cent of rated cylinder capacity without scoring, the latest members of the CLL cylinder family are backed by a strong distribution and service network.
With sales of almost $1 billion a year, Enerpac parent company Actuant is the largest international producer of high-force tools and the Enerpac range is one of the most commonly used around the world.
Features of the CLL series include:
· Special synthetic coating for improved corrosion resistance and lower friction for smoother operation.
· Interchangeable, hardened grooved saddles as standard, with CR 400 coupler and dust cap included on all models, which range from 50 ton up.
· An overflow port that functions as a stroke limiter, complementing the loadholding safety of the lock nut mechanism.
