UK based Positek Ltd has introduced the P113 slimline linear position sensor.
P113 sensors are available with calibrated travel from 10mm up to 300mm, easy to install and set up and provide a linear output characteristic with displacement.
Using Positek's PIPS technology and simple inductive coils with advanced ASIC electronic technology, the sensors’ dc analogue output signal represents absolute position and is available immediately on power up.
The P113 specifications include: IP67 sealing, available travel of 10mm to 300mm, independent linearity of <±0.25% @ 20°C, temperature coefficients of <±0.01%/°C, gain <±0.01%FS/°C offset, typical overall accuracy of <±0.5%/FSO, frequency response of >10KHz (-3dB) and noise of <0.02% FSO.
