Applied Infrared Sensing is now offering an advanced range of IR cameras for rent in Australia.
A leader in SWIR camera technology, Xenics (Belgium) manufactures its own InGaAs detectors and readouts. The high performance Xenics Xeva 320 SWIR cameras are offered currently for rent by AIS.
SWIR cameras from Xenics are typically sensitive in a 900 – 1700nm (or broader) wavelength range. These infrared cameras find application in research, spectroscopy, industrial applications, agriculture, medicine and defence areas.
Xenics thermal imaging cameras have also been calibrated to measure temperature of metal at 600-800ºC, which would be a very hard task for any other IR technology due to low emissivity.
