Applied Infrared Sensing  introduces an innovative solution for switchboard inspections to complement its range of thermal imaging equipment.

Infrared windows are widely used for thermal imaging inspections of switchboards and industrial equipment without opening the covers.

An infrared window assembly comprises of optics, O-ring, metal holder and protecting cover. Infrared windows are installed as the viewport window for thermal imaging cameras.

The critical part of the assembly, optics is made of CaF2, which allows thermal imaging cameras to operate through it at different wavelength ranges.

AIS’ infrared windows are suitable for three wavelength ranges: 0.2-7um, 0.2-14um, and 3-16um.

The IR windows are also suitable for conducting visual inspections.

The O-ring used in the window design meets the requirements of IP67 dust protection standard.
