APPLIANCE Test & Tag Services (ATTS) will feature a lightweight electronic data capture system, the ‘Test and Track’, at The Safety Show, which runs from October 26-28.
Test and Track allows hundreds of test records to be downloaded instantly into a standards-compliant database that can double as an asset register.
Regular testing and tagging of most electrical appliances are plugged-in, from welders and power tools to microwaves and air conditioners, and is required under occupational health and safety laws.
A suitably trained person must carry out the testing or a qualified electrician with equipment complying with Australian Standard AS/NZ 3760. The keeping of test results is also mandatory. ATTS can supply equipment to suit and offers appliance testing services.
Visitors to ATTS's stand J08 at The Safety Show Sydney, can take advantage of the company's show special - 100 free tags and a log book with every tester sold.
The Safety Show runs from October 26-28 at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
