APP-Tek will feature the Australian-made, intrinsically safe, multi-gas monitor for use in confined spaces, the OdaLog 6000 at the Safety In Action and Materials & Manual Handling 2006 exhibition in May.
For more than a decade, App-Tek has been improving the safety of mines and other confined spaces with specialised products such as the OdaLog.
The OdaLog’s small, beer can sized shape, durability and proven sealing properties have made it a market favourite, according to App-Tek.
The OdaLog 6000 is primarily configured to monitor oxygen, methane (or other flammables), carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide. Two extra toxic gases can also be added to the configuration, allowing up to six gases to be measured.
Other products in App-Tek's wide range detect various workplace hazards, including noise, dust and heat stress.
