Antec Engineering will be displaying and demonstrating their new range of Arcfix Stud Welding equipment, Refractory and Concrete related products on Stand 6011 at the QME in Mackay, from the 27th – 29th of July 2010.
Antec Engineering purchased the leading stud welding company Epitech Products in November 2009. The Arcfix Range now includes the Koco Series of Arc stud welding machines that are suitable for firing on the M16 and M20 threaded arc studs used for Wear Plate in Mining applications. Antec is a major manufacturer and supplier of threaded arc studs to Wear Plate manufacturers and end users.
The new Antec range of M16 and M20 Wear Studs will also be displayed for the first time. These are used on ground engaging equipment in various tough Mining situations and Quarries. Antec is also a leading manufacturer and supplier of Refractory Anchors, installation products, Shotcreting Pumps and passive Fire Protection Systems.
There will be a display on the Stand of these products and the Arcfix range of Shear Connectors and threaded Arc Studs. The Arcfix range includes stud welding machines and consumables, capacitor discharge (CD) Pins and clips and arc studs to a 24mm diameter, both of which are manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
There will be demonstrations of the new Koco 1002 Arc stud welding machine that has a capacity up to 14mm diameter in threaded arc studs, together with the HBS 1501 CD Machine and the PW660 Pin Welder. These demonstrations will be held continuously throughout the three days of the Show.
