No sweat with new gloves
RUBBER gloves are an uncomfortable accessory at best, and at worst can cause dermatitis due to excessive sweating.
Ansell has produced an industrial glove using the new Aquadri technology to minimise the effects of sweating.
The Virtex glove is a semi-disposable nitrile glove with an ultra-thin 0.025mm polymer composite coating that Ansell said absorbs four times more than standard cotton-flock gloves.
This means the wearer is more likely to wear the gloves, resulting in better safety compliance, and helping reduce accident and injury costs.
The chemical-resistant glove can be washed and dried up to three times without any loss of its moisture-absorbing qualities.
