GLOVES of almost every description, including cut resistant, general purpose, food service, chemical resistant and specialty types will be demonstrated by Ansell at Safety In Action and Materials & Manual Handling.
Two fresh innovations from Ansell will be launched at the March 21-23 show in Melbourne, including Intercept, a cut resistant yarn, and the Ansell Chemsafe website.
A combination of cotton, spandex, Kevlar and stainless steel thread, Intercept delivers excellent cut resistance without compromising flexibility, sensitivity and dexterity.
Two new cut resistant gloves made from Intercept will be on show at Safety In Action and Materials & Manual Handling: Hyflex CR+ for dirty or oily environments, and the ergonomic Vantage.
Another highlight of the stand will be Ansell Chemsafe website. Packed with information about chemical handling and the selection of appropriate protection, the website is far more than a product brochure.
The site was developed as an industry education tool after a recent ACTU survey revealed that most workers cited a lack of training as the major safety concern involved with the handling of chemicals.
The interactive Ansell Chemsafe website encourages visitors to test their chemical handling knowledge and provides vital safety advice.
