The new VersaTouch brand of gloves from Ansell Industrial Healthcare
is specifically designed to improve and protect food processing operations.
Current glove styles geared toward the food processing industry will be progressively identified under the VersaTouch brand to allow easier product selection and re-ordering for distributors and end-users.
Mitchell Mackey, Ansell's head of marketing explains that the gradual change is part of a strategic realignment of their food processing product portfolio to enable simpler product selection.
The first glove to be migrated to the new brand will be the proFood 92-481, which has now been rebranded as the VersaTouch 92-481. The VersaTouch product portfolio will eventually include both current and new high-performance reusable gloves for managing cut and thermal risks, fully immersible gloves for working in liquid environments as well as single use gloves for versatile wet and dry applications.
The range also includes styles with task-specific grip flexibility and comfort features that are optimised for the demands of the food processing industry. Selected VersaTouch styles meet international standards for applications that include direct food contact.
Specifically designed to enhance and protect food processing operations, VersaTouch gloves incorporate improved manufacturing processes for longer wear, greater tear strength and better grip in dry conditions for applications such as boning, carving, in-store preparation of vegetables, fish processing and filleting.
