Ansell Industrial Healthcare introduces an innovative range of work gloves that combine high levels of flame resistance, cut protection, enhanced grip performance and comfort in an ergonomically-friendly glove design.
Constructed using inherently flame-resistant composite materials designed to provide a high level of flame resistance as measured by the relevant European EN 407 standards, the PowerFlex 80-813 gloves provide exceptional hand protection for workers. These work gloves were developed based on feedback from customers.
Key features of Ansell’s PowerFlex 80-813 cut and flame resistant gloves:
- Proprietary flame-resistant foam coating provides enhanced grip in dry, wet and oil applications, resulting in reduced worker fatigue and improved work productivity
- Innovative liner design offers superior cut resistance (European EN level 5)
- Exclusive composite yarn with core glass fibre provides high cut protection and dissipates electrostatic charges
- Multi-dimensional solution for reducing hand-related injuries
Feuvrier added that the flame- and cut resistant gloves were tested in one of the world’s most demanding work environments, the oil sands operations in Canada that offered many different types of tasks and application demands to test the product’s limits.
Over 200 workers have successfully tested the PowerFlex 80-813 glove in 12 different applications including construction, electrical work, heavy maintenance and repair, oil refining and pipe fitting. Fit, feel and grip were the top rated features of the new glove.
