New NXDN Test and Enhanced GPS frequency accuracy for Anritsu’s P25 land mobile radio analyser

Supplier News

Anritsu has announced new options and capability for their LMR Master S412D Land Mobile Radio Tester. The new options are:

  • Support for NXDN Tx Signal Analysis
  • NXDN Talk Out Coverage
  • Also offered in the land mobile radio tester  is enhanced GPS frequency accuracy
NXDN is a digital two way radio standard created by a number of Japanese radio manufacturers. NXDN is technically similar to P25, however the radios are less rugged and less expensive than public safety oriented P25 radios. The newly enhanced frequency accuracy of the GPS on the land mobile radio tester  improves the spectrum analyser, P25 and NXDN frequency accuracy from 3 ppm (within 1 year) to 120 ppb (75 typical), when the GPS option is utilised

NXDN is targeted to the following applications:

  • Business radio needs
  • Crane operators
  • Plumbers
  • Taxis
  • Corporate facilities
