ANRITSU 's MT8850A/MT8852A Bluetooth test sets have received "Test System Validation" status for radio layer measurements from the Bluetooth Qualification Review Board (BQRB).

Achieving validated status means that users can test products with confidence in the measurements that they make. Validated test systems can also be used for product qualification or for product assessment prior to submission to a Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF).

MT8850A/MT8852A have validated test status for all eight of the supported measurements.

The MT8850A Bluetooth Test Set (and MT8852A with audio support) has been specifically designed for rapid testing of Bluetooth wireless links. The tests are suitable for design proving and production test.

MT8850A quickly establishes a link with the Bluetooth Equipment Under Test (EUT), using standard signalling as defined in the Bluetooth 1.1 core specification.

The MT8852A offers a comprehensive testing facility, supporting all three codec air interfaces (µ-law, A-law and CVSD) on up to three SCO audio channels. Rear-panel jack-plug connectors provide analogue inputs and outputs for all three audio channels.

Also available from Anritsu's Bluetooth testing line-up is the ME7865A Bluetooth RF Pre Qualification Test System (PQTS).

The ME7865A is a cost-effective and compact system offering comprehensive analysis of Bluetooth radios. It addresses all 16 test cases in the Bluetooth RF Test specification at frequencies up to 3GHz. Higher frequency capability is provided by options.

The ME7865A is a full Bluetooth Pre-qualification Test System that provides a detailed set of RF measurement results for chip-set developers, module manufacturers, developers of consumer products and volume manufacturers.

Anritsu's Bluetooth test sets have become the de-facto standard test instruments for design proving and production test of Bluetooth modules and products with a Bluetooth wireless interface.
