Anritsu has received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Line Strategy Leadership in the combined markets for signal generators, vector network analysers (VNAs), and spectrum analysers.
Frost & Sullivan presented Anritsu with the award because the company "demonstrated the most insight into customer needs and product demands" as well as met stringent criteria established by Frost & Sullivan's analyst team.
In formulating its decision, Frost & Sullivan analysts tracked all end user requirements and market dynamics within the test and measurement industry. Subsequently, the analysts compared these customer demands with various manufacturers' product lines.
Additional criteria included the introduction of new products, ability to accommodate different market segments, enhancing new products, and utilizing strategic technology and/or marketing acquisitions or alliances.
Upon completion of their analysis, Frost and Sullivan analysts selected Anritsu over a number of other test equipment manufacturers.
Market leadership is more than developing innovative products.
The analysts also cited Anritsu's recognition of market conditions in terms of sales and marketing. Anritsu has addressed the industry trend towards leasing and renting by reaching agreements with some of the industry's top rental and leasing companies.
Furthermore, Anritsu offers diverse training programs to help educate engineers and technicians on the ever-changing communications test market.
The Product Line Strategy Leadership award is the second honour Frost & Sullivan has presented to Anritsu. The ME7808A Broadband VNA earned Frost & Sullivan's Market Engineering Award for Product Innovations and Introductions in 2001.
