ANRI Instruments & Controls has announced the release of Epsilon Technologies’ Pyromaster-F. This optical pyrometer measures from 600°C to 1800°C, depending on the model.
The Pyromaster-F is unique as, instead of using the traditional mono-sensor approach, it uses either 14 or 32 photodiode sensor arrays.
The Pyromaster-F averages the measurement of the 14 (or 32) sensors, allowing for a more accurate and reliable measurement (±1°C), with an instantaneous response time.
The numerous sensors also allow for a larger sample area, ranging from 10mm to 1000mm, with a focal distance from 1000mm to infinity.
The digital user interface is user-friendly, and no options are needed on the device as water cooling, optics air purge, and laser are fully integrated in the standard version, with IP65 housing.
The Pyromaster-F operates between –10°C and +60°C, and measures 270 x 90 x 90mm in size.
