ANRI Instruments & Controls has released Gas Data's new GFM400 FlareCheck. The GFM400 FlareCheck is suitable for landfill site extraction system maintenance and optimisation.
This small user-friendly unit has been specifically designed after industry wide consultation to allow landfill operators to quickly and efficiently measure levels of CH4, O2, pipeline pressure and gas velocity. Down time is minimised while energy production is maximised.
Simple clear digital LCD screens display a steady state reading, providing the user with immediate results at a glance. Display readouts can be locked to allow easy comparison and review of measured values.
The unique graphical surge indicator with <1s response time makes diagnosis of blocked and water logged pipes easy. With IP66 housing, the GFM400 weighs less than 500g, and its small size allows for single handed operation. Its strong pump pulls gas sample from >300 Mbar vacuum.
Methane is measured using infrared analysis in the range of 0-100%; Oxygen is measured using electrochemical analysis in the range of 0-25%. Vacuum/pressure is measured in the range of ±400 Mbar, and the optional 11mm diameter vane anemometer displays gas velocity in the range of 0-40 m/s.
The GFM400 is a tough 'toolbox' type instrument that is a new addition to the existing Gas Data range which includes the LMSXi (I.S. portable) and LMSP (fixed system) analysers.
