The VFC2000 from Amtex Electronics is a variable AC power source with an adjustable output of 130 VAC at 15A or 250 VAC at 8A with a pure sinusoidal waveform.
Output frequency is fully user selectable in a range of 47 440Hz, with 50, 100, 200, 400 Hz ‘hot’ pushbuttons for a quick choice.
Input is 115 / 230 VAC selectable, anywhere in 47 to 440Hz range. There is also full isolation of 2250 VDC with 8mm spacing between input to output.
Current limiting, overload protection and thermal shutdown with auto recovery are just some extra features. The unit is an excellent and versatile instrument that suits many industrial applications or laboratories.
The new AC power source is supplied in 4U x 19-inch case for rack mount or bench top use.
