Supplier News

AMCOR PET Technologies opened the doors of its Sefton plant on 29 June to exhibit the technology used to manufacture plastic PET bottles and containers for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

The event was organised by the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) for members to share and gain knowledge about PET packaging.

Amcor PET Technologies technical and engineering manager David Quigley gave participants a tour of the plant, explaining the operation of injection blow moulding machines and highlighting the usage of robot technology.

The Sefton plant focuses mainly on custom moulding using single-stage equipment.
