Amcor appoints new head of sales and marketing

Michael Todd has been appointed to the role of Group General Manager Sales and Marketing for Amcor Australasia.

Michael will take a leadership role in driving sales and marketing and product innovation across Australasia’s diverse packaging businesses.

Michael will oversee corporate key account management, strategic management, senior customer liaison and Product Leadership and Innovation (PL&I). Michael will also have responsibility for research and technology.

Michael’s appointment comes at a crucial time as Amcor progresses its strategic priority of developing more customer and market focus across the global business.

Michael joins Amcor from a senior executive role with Kraft, recently heading its Asian operations in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. He was previously director international sales and national retail sales manager for Kraft in both the UK and Australia.

With his extensive career experience in marketing and sales at PepsiCo, Cott Corporation and Kraft, Michael will bring substantial customer insight to Amcor.

Michael has commenced his new role and reports directly to Managing Director Amcor Australasia.

According to Managing Director of Amcor Australasia, Michael with his extensive experience in the consumer goods sector, will bring significant value to Amcor Australasia’s business in terms of driving improved service and responsiveness to meet its customers’ packaging requirements.
