AMARE Safety will release the Pureflo ESM powered respiratory helmet with face-shield at the Safety In Action show.
The helmet is said to provide an integrated personal safety solution for industrial environments, offering all-in-one head, eye, face and respiratory protection against hazardous airborne contaminants, sparks, flying debris, chemical and molten metal splashes.
The battery powered, positive pressure system delivers a constant, plentiful supply of clean air at 170L/min. The helmet is light, small and comfortable to wear.
The helmet incorporates electronic systems management, a function that constantly monitors filter usage, fan delivery and battery performance, ensuring that the optimum supply of clean air is maintained.
The ESM visual monitoring system is housed in a head up display housed in the chin guard.
Two lightweight, rechargeable batteries slot into the helmet, providing 8hr or more of continuous operation. The batteries can be recharged within 2.5hr, without removing them from the helmet.
Both bump cap and "hard hat" versions of the helmet are available with the choice of fixed or flip up face-shields. Additional options include a welding screen, mesh face-shield, lamp bracket attachment, odour/vapour filter and radiant heat kit.
The company will also exhibit personal protective equipment, safety footwear, clothing, gloves, height safety equipment, and safety signs as well as its new Amourwear spectacle range and Tempest positive pressure blowers at the trade show.
