Alvi Technologies  offers flow measuring devices designed for the flow measurement of aggressive liquids and gases by differential pressure.  

The FB39 flow measuring devices are designed compactly and consist of a plastic orifice plate (nominal diameter DN15 to DN63) as well as a flange connected flow transmitter without moving parts.  

The wetted plastic components in these flow measuring devices are made from PP or PVDF depending on the media.  

The consistent performance displayed by FB39 flow measuring devices against aggressive media makes them suitable for water treatment, wastewater treatment and electroplating applications.  

The FB39 provides a flow proportional output signal (4-20mA 2-wire) and is optionally equipped with a display as well as a switching contact.  

The flow measurement devices are IP65-rated and offer a measuring range of up to 40m³/h.  

The metering section, consisting of an orifice with differential pressure tapping holes is grouped together with two pres­sure sensors and the electronics in a joint housing.  

The flow-dependent differential pressure arising at the orifice is measured by the two pressure sensors and converted into a standard electronic signal.  

Plastics used in the components in contact with the measured medium are chemically-resistant while the pressure sensors are made from pure ceramic, enabling the device’s use in plants with aggressive media.
