Altronic Distributors presents a new range of Secure Digital (SD) card board sockets to suit a variety of manufacturer requirements for solid state memory usage.
SD cards have become widely used as the de facto standard for solid state memory card usage in modern devices.
Altronic Distributors offers three models of SD card board sockets featuring two methods of insertion and removal.
P 5718 Micro SD and P 5720 SD are manufactured by Oupiin, and are push-push secure locking versions. When the card is inserted it locks into place. When pushed in further, the card springs back, releasing it from the socket.
P 5722 features a friction fit push-pull design that allows easy insertion and removal of the card.
All SD card board sockets are RoHS compliant for use in devices sold into worldwide markets.
