Allplastics Engineering  supply and machine PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) sheet and rod plastic products. PEEK is a high temperature plastic that is a semi crystalline, high performance thermoplastic for very demanding applications where excellent chemical resistance, high mechanical properties and temperature resistance up to 250°C are required.

PEEK Natural plastic products can be sterilised by conventional sterilisation methods and has a raw material composition which allows contact with food.

Other PEEK grades are available with additives such as PTFE, graphite and carbon. These additives result in a grade that is high wear, low friction and has high PV limits, making them ideal for wear and friction applications.

PEEK plastic products have a temperature range from -50°C to +250°C.

Key features of PEEK plastic products include:

  • High thermal mechanical bearing strength
  • Creep resistant
  • Very tough
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Hydrolysis resistant, even against super heated steam
  • Good sliding properties
  • Wear and UV resistant
  • Electrically insulating
  • Good machinability

Key features of PEEK plastic products can be used in the following applications:

  • Gears
  • Bushes
  • Wear Strips
  • Metering pumps
  • Friction bearings
  • Light mountings
  • Ball valve seals
  • Wafer support
  • Pump housings
  • Plug parts
  • Aerospace industry
  • Semiconductor production
  • Oil exploration
