Allplastics Engineering stocks and supplies the Blizzard range of decorative rigid composite panels in Australia.
Blizzard, a world renowned brand in the ski manufacturing industry utilises advanced technology to manufacture a new range of decorative composite sheets in Austria.
The core expanding machinery heats up and vertically expands solid thermoplastic sheets. These cores are processed into sandwich panels by the lamination equipment.
The unique geometry of the Pep Core enables the panels to be lightweight while providing high stiffness and compressive strength qualities.
Allplastics Engineering in Sydney has successfully employed the Blizzard range of decorative composite panels in a number of prestigious fit-outs in Australia over the last nine months.
The AAPT fit-out on four levels at the World Square project in the centre of Sydney executed on behalf of Telco Asset Mgment P/L was one of the most exciting projects completed by Allplastics.
Designed by HBO + EMTB architects, Allplastics fabricated four different colours on each level in the kitchen and meeting areas, giving each level a distinct and spectacular presence.
While expressing happiness at the positive feedback received from their customers, Vic Kalloghlian, Sales Manager of Allplastics said that the Blizzard decorative panel was the latest addition to the innovative thermoplastic brands, which their company had introduced to the architectural products market.
Launched at designEX in Melbourne, the Blizzard range of decorative panels is available in a range of finishes including clear colours, frost as well as scratch-proof and anti-slip surfaces, all with a strong translucent honeycomb core.
According to Vic Kalloghlian, some of the unique characteristics of the decorative composite panels include excellent stiffness, compressed strength, reduced weight, exclusive optical features, easy handling and processing, outstanding service temperature deformation resistance, UV resistance as well as sound absorption.
Blizzard’s rigid decorative composite panels find application in exhibition booths, shop design, stage settings, interior design, illuminated advertising, point of sale displays (POS displays), window dressing, shelving, decorative items, lighting diffusers, illuminated ceilings, furniture, partitions, sliding doors and balustrades.
Additionally, Allplastics stocks and fabricates a wide range of thermoplastic sheets and tough polycarbonate sheets including Perspex Frost and Acryform slumped acrylic.
