RTD, represented in Australia by Allied Data Systems , has released a new range of high-performance PCI-104 and PC/104-Plus family of cpuModules and controllers with Intel 1.4 GHz Pentium M or 1.0 GHz Celeron M processors with APIC and ACPI. Each single-board computer features up to 512MB of surface-mount BGA DDR SDRAM and one ATA/IDE Disk Chip socket for an on-board true IDE flash drive up to 4 GB which is natively supported by all major operating systems including RTOSes.
RTD's latest I/O technologies include aDIO port and four USB 2.0 ports. Wake events include aDIO interrupt, Ethernet, power button, serial port activity, USB, and onboard real time clock. The Pentium M also features advanced power management including Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology. Standard PC I/O include SVGA, LVDS flat panel, 10/100 Mb Ethernet, up to 4 BIOS selectable RS-232/422/485, keyboard, PS/2 mouse and EIDE controller with UltraDMA-100.
Software features include RTD enhanced AMI BIOS with USB boot and Quick boot modes, ROM-DOS, utilities and example programs. Compatible with all x86 operating systems: MS-DOS, ROM-DOS, PC-DOS, Windows (2000, XP, and XP Embedded), Linux (desktop and real-time versions), RTOSes such as QNX, VxWorks and Windows CE.
