Sealevel Systems, represented in Australia by Allied Data Systems , announce the release of a high-speed solution to data-enabled tactical radios - a USB synchronous radio adapter cable and DISA PDA-184 software. Users can connect the plug-and-play cable to the computer or handheld device through USB and to the tactical radio. It is quick and easy for war fighters to enhance their critical high-speed data communications in the battlefield.
The PDA-184 software is developed and owned by the government, and is available from DISA as part of this total solution.
Features of the PDA-184 software include:
- Implementation of MIL-STD-188-184 Data Waveform
- Easy-to-use Java-based GUI that runs in Microsoft Windows XP or 2000
The 9065 USB tactical radio interface can be provided with a variety of radio connection options that make it compatible with the prevalent brands and models, such as the Harris PRC-117 and -150, the Thales PRC-148, the Raytheon ARC-231 and PSC-5D, the Motorola LST-5 and the Rockwell Collins ARC-210.
