Allied Data Systems assists Australian Navy’s FFG upgrade

ALLIED Data Systems Pty Ltd has developed two systems for ADI Limited for use on the Royal Australian Navy's FFG upgrade program.

Both systems have been tested for rugged environmental conditions including shock, vibration, EMC and climate.

Allied Data Systems’ Permission to Train System is a triple redundant system that determines the status of each Effector and when all are in the safe condition allows the ship's on board training system to go into a training mode.

The second Allied Data system is a console intercommunication system that provides increase flexibility over older systems while maintaining compatibility with the older systems. This system allows the operators to communicate over sound power channels on board the ship as well as providing signalling between stations.
