NSW distributor of Airbag Man products, All Air Suspension introduces new airbag on-board controls featuring digital gauges for simple in-cab monitoring and adjustment of airbag pressure. The digital controls can substitute any standard analogue gauge in an air control kit.
The digital controls allow operators of airbag equipped vehicles to level up their suspension under the stress of uneven or varying loads, enhancing safety and levelling the ride when carrying heavy weights on one side of the vehicle. The device is also recommended to be used when liquid tanks are being filled or emptied, and when towing trailers, boats or caravans.
All-Air Suspension General Manager, Mr James Maslin explains that a major benefit of the new digital controllers is the ability to see real-time digital readouts of air pressure in each bag. Additionally, the controls can also easily be located away from the readout, allowing for a cleaner installation. The controls can be placed on the outside of work vehicles to allow visual checks, with the monitoring on the inside.
According to Mr Maslin, the digital controllers can be located appropriately to suit the vehicle and its purpose.
The digital controls allow the operator to make finger-tip adjustment for front-to-rear and side-to-side levelling of airbags without having to leave the vehicle to perform manual adjustments. Mr Maslin says that this capability is critical when carrying heavy or uneven loads, and is also suitable for recreational uses, such as caravans and motor homes, as well as more heavy duty industrial applications such as 4x4s on mining or construction sites.
The gauge can measure from 0-100 psi and has dual outputs on its LED digital display. The digital gauge has a compact, modern design that can easily be fitted to any vehicle and accommodates a range of configurations.
Mr Maslin adds that the digital controls keep the vehicle level, reducing wear and tear and giving an optimum level of safety, particularly across harsher terrains.
