Sydney converting machinery manufacturer Aldus Engineering
recently supplied its 110th locally designed and built core cutting machine from its plant in West Ryde.
Aldus Engineering has supplied a versatile range of core cutters from small units for the textile industry utilising 38mm cores up to 3500mm long systems for 300mm diameter cores provided for a local paper mill.
The latest machine was a semi-automatic 765ABP system designed for 152mm diameter cores for local cup manufacturer Huhtamaki at Windsor, NSW.
The 765ABP semi-automatic core cutter features a pneumatic cutting head operated by two ergonomically placed push buttons and a Tidland 152mm diameter pneumatic core clamping mandrel.
Aldus Engineering collaborated with the client on the final design and safety guarding of the core cutting machine to ensure full operator safety during operation.
