Leading express transport service provider AirRoad has announced that the quality management system of its Lidcombe depot has now been certified to ISO 9001 standard for more than fifteen years.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses.
To ensure compliance with the standard, AirRoad maintains consistent quality performance while also continually monitoring service to identify areas for ongoing improvement.
In addition, the company arranges periodical surveillance audits by independent third parties, and also by staff.
AirRoad Manager Jan Egan confirms that the company is proud of its ISO certification, explaining that "at AirRoad, we are committed to delivering the best service we can to our customers. We are always working towards continuous improvement and apply what we learn to increase operational efficiencies."
All of AirRoad’s depots are now certified to ISO 9001 standard for its core distribution business.
