KAESER AQUAMAT condensate treatment systems available from Air Powered Services
are designed to enable compressor users carry out condensate treatment in-house to reduce the overall cost of hazardous waste treatment and disposal.
The cost saving KAESER AQUAMAT systems help save up to 90% of disposal costs required for a specialist company to dispose of the condensate.
An unavoidable result of air compression, condensate is a chemically aggressive fluid that mainly consists of water, but also contains oil and dirt particles, which when released in the raw state can cause serious environmental harm.
Water resource legislation stipulates that contaminated water must be treated to achieve prescribed safety levels regarding purity. AQUAMAT condensate treatment systems ensure that contaminant levels are kept well within regulation limits.
AQUAMAT condensate treatment systems incorporate high performance filter material instead of activated charcoal in all pre- and main filter cartridges. The upstream separation reservoir with gravitational pre-separation enables maintenance intervals to be significantly extended and enhances reliability.
A level sensor clearly indicates the degree of filter contamination, requiring the filter to be changed as soon as the indicator becomes obvious. The user can check operation of the AQUAMAT by referring to the cloudiness test containers and consequently schedule maintenance as necessary. One check per week is highly recommended.
The main filter cartridge can be changed easily via the convenient handle. The filter can then be fixed to the AQUAMAT casing to drain. Filter changes are therefore quick and clean, with no pre-soaking of the new filter required.
