Multigas monitor
AIRMetScientific and Industrial Scientific have released the M40 multigas monitor.
Continuously monitors up to four gases.
It has four independent sensors and can continuously monitor up to four gases. It detects oxygen, combustible gases, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide, triggering audible and vibrating alarms when gas concentrations exceed specified levels. It is compact and weighs 244g.
Low, high, STEL, and TWA alarms can be programmed by the user. The graphical LCD displays simultaneous readings for all monitored gases. It comes with standard datalogging, recording up to 50 hours of exposure data. The quick cal feature allows the calibration of all sensors at once, reducing the amount of gas required for each calibration. An optional SP40 sampling pump draws samples from up to 15m away. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery allows a continuous run time of up to 18 hours.
