Compact and lightweight, the personal PID gas monitor is sensitive to over 480 gaseous compounds. It has a response time of less than 13 seconds and provides readings in ppb and mg/m3 on its bright, backlit LCD display.
When exposure exceeds preset limits an alarm is activated. Alarm options include flashing red LEDs, an audio alarm and vibration, or a combination of the three.
The personal PID gas monitor incorporates the same PID technology employed on the fixed and hand-held Ion Science detectors. It is suitable for extended use in challenging, humid and dusty environments.
