PRAHER Valves, represented in Australia by Air & Hydraulic Systems , has released the T4 butterfly valve in PVC, PP and PVDF, for applications involving water and most chemicals up to 10 bar pressure.

The valve is a wafer style, with a fully lugged, glass reinforced polypropylene body with universal mounting holes. This makes the valves suitable for use with BS, DIN, ANSI, ASTM and JIS flanges. The one-piece seat seal is available with either EPDM or FPM seals and covers the face of the valve so no gasket is required between valve face and flange.

The valves are available in sizes from DN65 to DN250. A padlock fitted to the hole in the yellow locking lever prevents the lever from being lifted out of the notches moulded into the top plate of the valve, allowing the valve to be locked in a variety of positions.

Users can close couple pneumatic or electric actuators, as both the top section of the valve body and the exposed section of the shaft have been designed to an ISO standard which will permit actuators to be mounted directly to the top of the valve. This eliminates the need for a mounting block and shaft adaptor.
