Combining Agilent Technologies oscilloscopes and MATLAB data analysis software enables engineers to analyse, visualise and filter signals. The integrated capability makes these tasks easier and saves engineers time. The agreement between The MathWorks and Agilent Technologies enables users to obtain quality instrumentation and data-analysis software from a single source.
According to The MathWorks, Agilent Technologies customers will get the benefit of a coherent, integrated software platform that lets them use Agilent Technologies equipment in the complete product-development lifecycle. This combination gives them integrated analysis capability, which accelerates time to insight and time to market.
Agilent Technologies observe that this agreement provides customers with the convenience of purchasing a complete hardware and software solution from Agilent Technologies, and gives them more time to focus on the creation of quality designs.
Agilent Technologies 5000, 6000, 7000 and 90000 series oscilloscopes now have purchase options that allow customers to include task-optimised configurations of MathWorks products.
The Agilent Technologies Option 061 MATLAB basic oscilloscope package provides an introductory software package for configuring and controlling Agilent Technologies instruments and performing basic signal and visualisation tasks from the MATLAB environment. The Agilent Technologies Option 062 MATLAB standard oscilloscope package adds functionality for filtering signals and analysing signal processing schemes.
Agilent Technologies complete portfolio of oscilloscopes is available in a variety of form factors, with bandwidths ranging from 20MHz to 90GHz. These oscilloscopes offer specifications and powerful applications. The Agilent Technologies Option 061 MATLAB basic package and Option 062 MATLAB standard packages are available now.
This is the second agreement between The MathWorks and Agilent Technologies to offer MATLAB with Agilent Technologies products. On September 23, 2008, The MathWorks and Agilent Technologies announced the availability of MATLAB with the purchase of Agilent Technologies EXA, MXA, or PSA signal analysers. The agreement enables users to obtain quality instrumentation and data analysis software from a single source.
