Agilent Technologies announces the latest enhancements to its Command Expert software for faster and easier instrument control in various test application development environments.
Now including support for Windows 8, the updated version brings new capabilities to users. The improved instrument discovery process provides closer integration with Agilent’s I/O libraries. The software also supports new releases of common application development environments, and includes more examples and instrument command sets to improve usability.
The updated Command Expert software provides easier connection to and control of instruments using Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments or IVI-COM command sets in many application environments.
Key enhancements to the Command Expert software include support for Windows 8 and add-on support for new versions of Visual Studio, MATLAB, SystemVue and Excel, ability to copy and paste between sequences, inclusion of local variables allowing sequences to use output values as inputs to another command, and more programming examples and tutorials for fast startup in all environments, and even more SCPI command sets.
The no-charge software can be downloaded from Agilent’s website.
