Agilent Technologies introduces two new models to its portfolio of handheld oscilloscopes.
The 100-MHz U1610A and 200-MHz U1620A handheld oscilloscopes include an advanced colour VGA display.
Key measurement capabilities of the two new Agilent handheld oscilloscopes include a sampling rate of 1 or 2 GSa/sec and two safety-isolated input channels. Analysis capabilities include deep memory, 1,000x zoom, and dual zoom windows for overview and detailed displays.
Designed for user-friendly operation, the highly versatile oscilloscopes offer up to three viewing modes (indoor, outdoor and night vision), enabling engineers to view signal waveforms by zooming in to capture glitches under all lighting conditions.
The outdoor viewing mode, coupled with the 5.7-inch transflective display makes it possible to read waveforms even in bright sunlight.
According to Ee Huei Sin, vice president and general manager of Agilent's Basic Instrument Division, the unique capabilities of the new handheld oscilloscopes bring greater confidence in analysing and viewing signals under many types of lighting conditions in a variety of industrial and electronics applications.
