Agilent Technologies introduces the new E4980AL precision LCR meter mainly used for component characterisation at component manufacturers and for component evaluation by electronic equipment manufacturers.
Featuring three cost-effective frequency options - 300 kHz, 500 kHz and 1 MHz - the new meter options follow Agilent's industry-standard E4980A LCR meter, which has long offered the best price/performance and application breadth among basic LCR meters.
The Agilent LCR meter is also used in material measurement applications typically found in research and development as well as education.
Akira Nukiyama, general manager of Agilent's Component Test Division in Kobe, Japan explains that they have designed the new meters to meet the budget requirements of their customers who seek lower-cost LCR meter solutions with no compromise on accuracy, speed and versatility. Additionally, customers can easily upgrade to extend their frequency as needs change, offering investment protection for the future.
