Aeronaut automation introduces the new Maxis ll sample maker, the cost effective flatbed cutter. The Maxis ll is powerful and accurate, able to cut the entire range of corrugated boards, from E flute to Tri-wall. And the Maxis ll flatbed cutter is fast enough and reliable enough to be used for short run production.
The Maxis ll sample maker was originally developed for the US market, as an alternative to the currently available machines.
Since then, this flatbed cutter has been bought for sample making by large and small design offices. The largest privately owned packaging company in the world has one in almost every state in Australia. Machines are running 24 hours a day doing short run work in a wide range of packaging applications.
The Maxis ll flatbed cutter is normally supplied with Tangent or DXPlot software, and is compatible with a range of industry software including ArtiosCAD, Impact, Laserpoint, VisionPack etc.
The Maxis ll is fitted with a reciprocating blade cutter, able to cut up to 15mm thick materials, a creasing tool with 4 profiled creasing rollers and a marker pen. The flatbed cutter can be fitted with a laser alignment pointer to allow precise registration of pre-printed board with patterns to be cut.
