ADVANTECH is set to release the AIMB-554 industrial micro ATX motherboard, supporting the latest Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core Duo and Intel Core Solo processors with up to 667MHz FSB.
With mobile-optimised architecture and 65nm process technology, the AIMB-554’s Intel 945GM Express chipset includes superb power management, excellent I/O bandwidth with PCI Express, an integrated 32-bit 3D graphics engine based on Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 architecture and Intel High Definition Audio.

When combined with the new Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 processor, the AIMB-554 provides dual-core processing with a 4MB L2 cache and advanced power management, ensuring outstanding performance per watt (up to 28% less power than previous generations).
The integrated VGA controller and GMA950 provides superior graphics via a PCI-Express x16 port, LVDS and TV-out connector, with support for dual display applications.
The AIMB-554 offers multiple high performance onboard I/O capabilities, with one PCI-Express x16 slot for a high end graphics card, one PCI-Express x4 slot, two PCI 32/33 slots and eight USB2.0 ports.
The AIMB-554 has an onboard single/dual Gigabit LAN via PCI Express host interface. Two serial ATA ports with RAID 0, 1 support, one RS232 port, one RS232/422/485 port and a parallel port are also included.
The AIMB-554 also features tough industrial functions, like a watchdog timer, a long Mean-Time-Before-Failure (MTBF), CMOS data backup, a wide operating temperature range, and long-term service support. A custom BIOS service is available for specific function support as well.
The AIMB-554 complies with RoHS specifications and is fully compatible with Advantech’s rugged micro ATX chassis. This board is an ideal solution for embedded and industrial applications that require high graphic computing performance in a low-power platform.
