ADVANTECH has released its new 3.5-inch format embedded solutions using the Intel Pentium M and Celeron M processors. The PCM-9380 is based on the powerful 2GHz low power Intel Pentium M processor and uses Intel's 855GME and IC4H chipset. This chipset is designed for embedded computing and delivers 400MHz front side bus speed and an integrated graphics solution with a 32-bit 3D core.
The PCM-9386 uses Celeron M 600 MHz CPU with 852GM chipset. The low-voltage Celeron M 600MHz processor is suitable for fanless solutions and is designed for embedded applications. It supports up to 1GB DDR memory with ECC for improved reliability and data integrity. It includes VGA/LCD/LVDS connectors for dual independent displays and 1000Base-T Ethernet for gigabit networking.
One feature is the Module I/O (MIO) interface which integrates the most popular bus signals together into a high-density 160-pin connector. These bus signals include PCI, high-speed USB 2.0, digital video output (DVO), low pin count (LPC) and AC97 audio. A variety of embedded add-on modules are available including serial ports, TV-out/S-Video, DVI interfaces and Ethernet ports.
