14th Australian HACCP Conference will be held from 30 July to 3 August 2007, on the Gold Coast Queensland.

The HACCP Conference is the premier discussion forum for all food industry professionals involved in food safety. Each year the conference attracts a loyal following of those involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of food safety programs.

The conference program is now available, some of our speakers include:

Douglas Powell, associate professor at Kansas State University and director of the Food Safety Network, he will be presenting a paper on Global Food borne Illness

Gail Greening, Institute of Environmental Science and Research New Zealand will cover food borne viruses, how safe is our food

John Aitken, Southern Community Labs New Zealand, presenting Food Safetya dn the role of parasitic infection

William Marler, an accomplished personal injury and products liability attorney; his paper will focus on class actions relating to food borne illness in the USA

According to Advancing Food Safety, other speakers include Food Standards Australia, Food Safety Centre of Excellence, Johnson Diversey, Pet IT, ACCC, Australian Customs Service, Coles Group, SPC Ardmona, Amcor, Dept of Human Services Victoria, Dept of Primary Industries Victoria, George Weston Foods, University of NSW and Parilla Fresh.
