The forklift training two day course offered by AdvanceOHS is designed for people who have not operated forklift but can drive a vehicle. This course includes Workcover OH&S legislation, people should be more than 18 years of age, pre-operational and post-operational checks, site safety audit and risk assessment, student workbook, attachments or SWL or load weight estimation, requires photo id and enclosed shoes, must register 48 hours before the course, video or practical driving or written assessment.
The greencard course provided by AdvanceOHS is aimed at all new workers carrying out construction work such as labourers, apprentices, self-employed persons, trades-persons, trainees, supervisors and project managers. This course offers basic principles of health and safety in the construction industry in New South Wales, information about preventing workplace injury and illness, workplace injury management and workers compensation in New South Wales. The hazardous substance course from AdvanceOHS aims to familiarize participants and organisations with the legal requirements in terms of dealing with hazardous substances.
The manual handling course intends to familiarize participants with the skills and knowledge for correct manual handling. Participants learn to apply the principles of risk management with reference to manual handling scenarios. This session contains both practical as well as theory components.
