ALERTS Voice Page
This service is designed for situations where there isn’t enough time for the initiator to have a conference meeting. It allows a user to quickly record a voice message to be played to each member in the Voice Page team.
This set of services is designed to either go at the front end of a PABX system enabling call recording of all phone traffic through the system or as an add on for field staff when recording of calls is required. It comes in two different modules, which give maximum flexibility to the organizations desired use.
To use this service a user must dial into the system and enter the appropriate PIN. Once call is validated the system will start recording. The recording will cease when the line is released.
This service will allow multiple simultaneous dial in conferences to take place on the system. Conferences are created using the Communications Center Client software and may be accessed by dialing a particular number or using a particular PIN for access. Once there are two participants in conference they can the use their phone keypad to access additional functionality available.
This system service increases the flexibility of the system be allowing users to navigate a menu system (similar to phone banking). All listed functionality may be made available through this IVR tree, options may be kept silent so as only familiar user know they are there, and keying ahead is available. As well as accessing system services the IVR may be set up as a information service allowing users to access pre-recorded messages / announcements.
Rostering is used to in conjunction with ALERT type services and the Role Call service to contact only the most appropriate people who are actively available at the time. Members are assigned to specific calendar dates and times on a member basis. Calendars available include perpetual; days of the week, weeks of the month or days in a month, members can also be assigned to specific times intervals during the day.
As well as first level rostering, second and third level will also be available. For example team members can be called who are “reserve” users if all the first level users fail.
This system service is used in conjunction with a team member’s roster. Utilising this service will give the system administrator the ability to dial automatically the team members that are rostered that day to warn that they should be available. If desired the administrator can also have the member respond using their phone keypad to indicate that they will be available.
The Canned message service allows an initiator to dial into the Communications Centre System and send preformatted messages to any team on the server. The initiator is greeted and then guided through the service to select the team and canned message desired. Once the message is selected the system will send a SMS, Radio Page or Email to each member of the team selected.
User Interface – WAP
The WAP user interface allows mobile users to modify their team membership, modify user contacts, change their login and password for system access and review recent logging information for their teams including Voice Page responses. Through this interface users can send text announcements to their teams through any media format that is available in the system (SMS, Radio Page or Email etc).
