EMC have released an impact weigher flowmeter controller with features of ModWeigh controllers and indicators. The MW99d4 impact weigher flowmeter controller is configured to display the flowrate or total weight of material as it passes through the impact weigher.
The Modweigh MW99d4 impact weigher flowmeter controller, available from Active Weighing Solutions , is used to measure the flowrate of a free flowing material. It measures the impact force of material striking a plate and converts this information to a flow rate. This information is integrated to give a total weight of material.
The Modweigh MW99d4 impact weigher flowmeter controller can be used either to monitor or batch out a desired weight by stopping the feed device when the target weight is reached. A pre-act weight can be adjusted to shut off the feed device before the target weight is reached, allowing time for the feed device to run empty and reach the target batch weight.The Modweigh MW99d4 impact weigher flowmeter controller features flowrate output, material totaliser, 4 or 8 digital inputs, 4 or 8 digital outputs, modbus communications (independent RS232 and RS485 ports) 12-24Vdc power supply and delivers an overall accuracy of 0.01%. A removable P-Module holds calibration settings and the software is field upgradeable.
