GE’s Kaye RF ValProbe is an RF thermal validation system that integrates breakthrough RF Mesh technology with well-established thermal validation in situ loggers from GE Sensing.
Designed for the validation and monitoring of environmental chambers and storage areas such as stability chambers, freezers, refrigerators and warehouses among others, the Kaye RF ValProbe system utilises a 2.4 GHz RF Mesh network and multiple redundant data storage to provide ultra-reliable and robust communications and storage of critical validation data.
Additional safeguards guarantee data integrity, storage and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The RF ValProbe system is comprised of RF wireless loggers, a base station and software, with the loggers providing high accuracy measurement of temperature, humidity, and any 4 to 20mA or 0 to 10 V output while the software enables support for 2-Channel and 5-Channel RF temperature loggers for validation.
The software ensures user-friendly operation by incorporating features such as self-configuring of the mesh network and automatic data collection. Extensive graphing, reporting and calculation capabilities minimise data analysis and provide regulatory-compliant reports. It is used for simplified real time validation of stability chambers, freezers, warehouses and steam in place applications.
Key features of the RF ValProbe system include RF Mesh networking technology providing reliable real time process data; usage of global 2.4 GHz RF frequencies; 100% data redundancy in both remote logger and base station; can operate standalone or with PC connected with data stored in RF Base Station; best-in-class data analysis tools, including ability to graph and report in cycles and groups; and report tool processes and creates merged reports from RF ValProbe, Valprobe or Validator products.
Temperature and pressure accuracy of the RF ValProbe system meets requirements for ISO-17665, EN554 and EN285 sterilisation requirements. The system offers easy connection to the Kaye pressure transducer, which is designed for harsh environment applications such as steam sterilisers and SIP systems.
