Leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of acoustic insulation products, Acoustica
introduces an innovative acoustic pipe insulation designed to reduce carbon emissions.
Acoustica’s GreenLAG acoustic pipe insulation incorporates the internationally patented GreenCHEM acoustic noise barrier that has been developed by replacing petrochemicals with water and other renewable natural and biomass materials.
Announcing the release, Acoustica’s founder and CEO, Philippe Doneux stated that the company had adopted the principles of Green Chemistry in developing their GreenCHEM noise barrier, which is considered a major step in contributing to a healthy living environment.
Acoustica’s GreenLAG acoustic pipe insulation combines the GreenCHEM Group 1 fire rated noise barrier with a Green Star rated 15mm flat foam decoupling layer achieving surprising acoustic performance.
GreenLAG PL5/15 acoustic pipe lagging has been proven to outperform competitive pipe lagging using carbon based barriers in combination with 25mm convoluted decoupling layer. The reduced overall wall thickness and high flexibility of GreenLAG saves installation time and costs.
